While other private hospital often allow husbands to be present during labor, here in KSA, some traditional families may prefer a female-only environment. We would always encounter situations like this in DR. The demands are high, and the dillema of wanting to allow the relatives to come inside the labor room to help alleviate the pregnant women's anxiety and fears, but simultaneously we need to follow the hospital rules which allows only 15 minutes of stay at the patient's bedside.
